Kathryn Buckstaff is an award-winning journalist and author of books, magazine articles, poetry and short stories. For the past 14 years, she has lived in and covered the entertainment capital of Branson, Missouri, as Branson Bureau Chief for the Springfield News-Leader with the third largest readership in Missouri.

Her books include Branson and Beyond: A Country Music Lover’s Guide to Branson, Nashville, and Pigeon Forge; and murder mysteries No One Dies in Branson and Evil Harmony, each published by St. Martin’s Press.
